Th 9th of June rolled in and I had a day off work, at The Sail Loft here in Greenwich. (PS The Sail Loft is on track to be the best new waterside pub of 2016 in London) As a present to myself for successfully finishing my first week as a kitchen porter at TSL, I decided to firstly, meet up with Eduardo from back at KES for a catch up, a few beers and dinner and also, as the weather was stunning, blue skies and warm British summer weather here in London, I planned to head into the City of London area to do some street photography.
Earlier in the week I had become very inspired by the work of Frank, or the @12headedboy on Instagram. His work in Chicago is really pretty cool, especially his work and talent at spotting shadow shapes made by the Chicago architecture.
Seeing these, feeling really inspired to try and shoot London in a similar way, I headed out with my Nikon gear and Lowepro Flipside 15l AW camera bag (Gear blog post coming very shortly).
